PROGRAMMING

MSI's software development team provides standard tools for online discussion, quizzes, navigation, tracking and evaluation. However, each course is unique and may require specialized interaction. Our programmers are experts in both client and server side programming. The software developed for your course will be both reliable and secure. Our programming staff is well aware of the effect of Internet traffic on course performance. Your course will be designed to operate at speeds as low as 28.8 KBS. Your course will be tested on all Netscape browsers (starting at version 4.0), all Internet Explorer browsers (starting at version 4.0) and all America Online browsers (starting at version 5.0).

AUDIO ENGINEERING

The narration for your course can be recorded in your own voice or by a professional narrator. MSI provides audio recording services in our downtown San Francisco office. Your narrations will be edited, normalized and converted to a variety of audio formats to make it easy for learners to listen on a variety of platforms. We support both streaming and compressed audio formats. Compressed audio formats are important because they allow audio to be delivered behind a corporate firewall. Our audio engineers will work with you to find the compression format that works best with your voice.

WEB HOSTING/TECH SUPPORT

Once your course has been developed, MSI will host the course on our server and provide all technical support services. Our technical support staff is always available to answer participant or instructor questions.
