Your experience of online facilitation and instruction will be very different from your classroom experiences. One hundred percent of your time is devoted to feedback and interaction. There is no need to devote time to presenting the material over and over. Class sizes are small (generally less than 15 participants). TRAINING IN ONLINE FACILITATION SKILLS

As an MSI instructor you'll have access to examples of best practices in online facilitation. MSI will provide online or in person instruction in online facilitation skills. Topics covered include: building relationships, stimulating interaction, checking for understanding, using a variety of communication media, resolving conflict online, methods for selecting partners and team, and adapting the course to the learners in a specific cohort.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Many instructors have their first online teaching experience with an organization that does not provide adequate technical support for learners. In this situation, the learners naturally turn to the instructor with time consuming questions about internet connections, browser versions or computer problems. You won't have this experience teaching an MSI course. Our tech support staff is available at all times to deal with any technical question. Our interface has been proven by thousand of students to work with almost every imaginable system and software. As an MSI instructor, you'll be able to focus on answering questions about your course content.

AUTOMATED REAL-TIME STUDENT PROGRESS TRACKING

Our integrated learning management systems have automated real-time student progress tracking. You can view a summary report of the class progress to see who is keeping up and who is falling behind, or you can view a detailed report of an individual's progress through the course.

WEB-BASED ENROLLMENT & LEARNER INFORMATION

The web-based interface to our integrated learning management system allows instructors to view and update student enrollment and contact information. Each MSI course allows learners to specify information about their learning and communication preferences. Instructors can use the learner preference information to make the optimal selections for partner and group exercises.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES AND LOCATION INDEPENDENCE

If you've been successful in the world of corporate training, you know what it is like to wake up in a different city every day. If you facilitate on contract, you know about spending endless unbillable hours sitting in airports and on planes. MSI courses allow you to facilitate groups all over the world without setting foot in another airport. Since our methodology does not require you to be online at the same time as the learners, your daily commitment of one hour per class can be arranged at a time of your convenience.
